island pacific academy - 2008.9.14

island pacific academy is a private school located in the heart of downtown kapolei. it's "gardens" consist of your basic low-maintenance hawaiian plants between the sidewalk in front of the school and its parking lot. but even in this little strip one can find beauty.

my daughter informs me that the purple flower is the hawaiian morning glory, and the white flowers are probably a variety of clematis. they were very tiny - maybe a quarter of an inch across. they made up for small size with great numbers, though!
